Calcium Glycerophosphate
Basic Information: The CAS number of calcium glycerophosphate is 27214-00-2, and its molecular formula is C3H7CaO6P. Calcium glycerophosphate is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder, odorless, almost tasteless, and slightly bitter. It has slight hygroscopicity in the air. At 130℃, it will loses its crystalline water and forms an anhydrous substance, which decomposes above 170℃. Each gram of calcium glycerophosphate dissolves in approximately 50 ml of 25℃ water. It is more soluble in water at lower temperatures. The aqueous solution is alkaline. Calcium glycerophosphate is insoluble in ethanol but soluble in glycerol.
Application: Calcium glycerophosphate is a versatile compound that is widely used in the fields of medicine, food, and toothpaste.
